Fun, fun and furthermore; FUN!!!

Right out of the packaging I was impressed. I loaded up the IDE/Programming page and connected the Microbit. Within a couple of minutes the 'Heartbeat' app was doing its' thing. I studied programming way back at college and this little thing has got me juiced up again to write some code. It may seem to aimed at kids but this is for EVERYONE. I am looking forward to learning more about the Microbit and maybe getting another for other projects. The other thing that really impressed me was an email after I bought the unit that basically assured me that I could contact Cool Components at any time for assistance. THAT is the sort of customer service that really lives up to the term. I HIGHLY recommend it. Brilliant fun.

Great piece of kit

We're just at the beginning of our microbit journey. So far we've found that it is really well set up for our 9 year old to play with. We don't seem to be able to drag and drop programs from Samsung Galaxy S2 to the microbit but have successfully dragged and dropped from both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating systems. This is our second microbit. We found it affordable enough to get a dedicated one to go in the mini move whilst the other can be used for "creative projects".
