This is an upgraded Grove - OLED Display 0.96" chip, changing from an SSD1308 to an SSD1315. The difference has led to a slight improvement in performance at a lower cost!

The Grove - OLED Display 0.96" (SSD1315) is a monochrome 128×64 pixel passive display matrix module with a Grove I2C Interface. The new 0.96 OLED Display inherits all the features of its older counterpart, including: high contrast, high brightness, low power consumption, wide viewing angle, and many more.

The new SSD1315 chip can work with 3.3V, so the expensive DC-DC boost circuit has been removed. And an onboard level shift circuit means this OLED Display 0.96" can work with 3.3V and 5V platforms. That is to say, you can use it easily as an OLED display for an Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other microcontrollers.

The Grove-OLED Display supports the U8g2 monochrome displays library. This library supports displays based on SSD1315, SSD1306 or other chips allowing you to get quickly started quickly and conveniently like magic!

Please Note:

  • If your board is based on an ATmega328, such as Seeeduino V4.2 and Arduino UNO, you will need to change it to soft I2C when using the U8G2 library. This is not required if you are using a SAMD development board.
  • 3.3V/5V compatible
  • Changeable I2C address
  • Low power consumption
  • Monochrome 128×64 pixels
  • High contrast, high brightness
  • Wide operating temperature range: -40℃ ~ +85 ℃
