The BeagleBone series is one of the most famous open source development platforms in the world. The Beaglebone Blue has a very different layout from most of the other BeagleBone boards which makes it harder to use Grove modules. That's why this cable is so handy. 

It is a conversion cable specially made for using Grove with BeagleBone Blue via GPIO and ADC, on one side is the Grove Universal 4 Pin connector and on the other side is BeagleBone Blue 4 pin JST/SH connector.
