Could robotic dogs be the solution to automated delivery issues?

It's currently CES over in Las Vegas which means that there'll be lots of announcements about new technology some of which will never actually reach consumers and some that will! In Continentals recent press conference they announced their plan for automated transportation and delivery of goods which involved robotic dogs. They intend to use these "robotic dogs" to overcome the biggest issue in automated delivery systems, the final meter. Getting the item from the vehicle to the building's reception or mailbox is a complex task in itself this is why even the biggest companies such as Amazon have still not found a workable solution. While Continentals take on solving the issue is unique we're not sure we'll be seeing robotic post dogs anytime soon!
