The Original iPhone Prototype

It's been over 12 years since the original iPhone was announced, it was developed in secret by Apple under the codenames "M68" and "Purple 2". Recently images and details of the prototype board used by engineers have been shared online. The prototype board is considerably bigger than the iPhone and has all of the major components that were in the final phone as well as some additional ports for easy connections when developing the software used on the phone.
