DESCRIPTION

The MQ-131 is a low concentration Ozone gas sensor from Winsen. The sensing material for the MQ-131 is WO₃. It will have lower conductivity in clean air and higher conductivity when the ozone concentration rises. This sensor has a high sensitivity to ozone and also has a sensitivity to strong oxides such as Cl₂, NO₂ &etc. It responds oppositely to organic interference gases. The sensing range is 10 - 1000ppm. A simple circuit makes measuring this change in conductivity and turning it into data fairly straightforward, but does require some calibration.
