This is Shimon, a fully functioning robotic singer and songwriter. It's capable of creating full song length melodies and lyrics, it can also collaborate with other human band members by performing human-composed sections or even giving visual timing queues for its band members.
The robot uses deep learning and artificial intelligence to create its songs. After being given a dataset of over 50,000 words from specific genres of music you can give it a topic and it'll create song lyrics based around it. It uses semantics to do this meaning if you suggest the weather as a topic it'll sing about the clouds, sunsets, rain ect. Shimon and his bandmates having an album dropping on Spotify in April where the robot sings, raps and shows off its full skillset!
