Wing is the world's first commercial drone delivery company, they recently launched a public delivery service in Canberra, Australia. The service is currently limited to a small neighbourhood and offers drone delivery options for food, coffee and medical supplies. The company has been testing and developing the drone delivery system since 2014 but was only recently granted a license allowing them to make commercial deliveries on the condition that they do not fly over crowds or main roads. The drone delivery system is estimated to deliver 1 in 4 of all takeaway orders in the area by 2030 and be worth as much as AU$30-40 million.
