The Worlds Largest Rideable Hexapod

It's not every day you see a hexapod of this size! The UK based engineer Matt Denton was recently awarded a Guinness World Record for the largest rideable hexapod for his Mantis robot. Standing at an impressive 2.8m tall, 5m wide and weighing close to 2 tons it's an impressive machine. As with most projects, he started small-scale designing and creating countless hexapods out of various materials. You'd assume he has an equally exciting days job and you'd be right! Matt works in special effects specifically animatronics and his creations have been parts of some rather popular movies such as Harry Potter and Star Wars.
