DESCRIPTION
This control board is designed to make using NeoPixel and DotStar LED strips and rings as easy as possible with a Teensy microcontroller. The screw terminal connectors mean you don't need to fuss with connectors, simply strip the wires and screw them into place. The board features two programmable buttons and two variable potentiometer inputs. We've tested it with our range of LED Strips, Rings & Matrixes but it'll work with any LEDs that are controllable with an Arduino and use the same connections.
Our guide and example code gives a detailed breakdown of the board and shows some of the possibilities for these inputs with a code example.
Please Note:
- The Teensy shown in the images is not included.
FEATURES
This control board is designed to work with all versions of the Teensy microcontroller just make sure to connect the board the correct way around ensuring the USB connector is on the same side as the label on the board.
When using the external power connections please ensure that only suitable power supplies that meet the Teensy requirements of 3.3V-5.5V are used as the connector is connected directly to the Vin pin. Most LED strips run at 5V so you'll need to use a 5V power supply.
